FTI１９９５年に設立されたメルボルンの中でも歴史のある語学学校。設立当初から、日本語、フランス語、イタリア語、スペイン語、ドイツ語、中国語の全６言語を地元オーストラリア人に教えていたが、2008年からはその経験を活かし留学生に対する英語教育をスタート。
FTIでは、そのユニークな特徴を活かし留学生とオーストラリア人生徒が交流できる場所を提供している。また、FTIは、ニュージーランドにあるNew Zealand Skills & Education Group (NZSEG)学校の一部。NZSEG0は英語学校Seafield, カレッジのNZSE,ATC３つの教育機関から成り、オークランドを中心にニュージーランドに合計１１校の校舎がある。ライセアムで学習後、ニュージーランドで継続して学習も可能、2カ国留学ができる。

General English(一般英語)
- 期間：2〜67 週、毎週月曜日入校可能
- レベル：Elementray〜Upper Intermediate
平均10-13名の少人数制クラス。会議室的テーブル設定は、当校のコミュニカティブメソッドを一番効果的にできるスタイル。クラス内では隔週のテスト、mid- termテスト finalテストを行うことでしっかりとモチベーションを保つことができる。また講師にとっては生徒の伸びや弱点を明確にするためよりパーソナルアドバイスが可能に。
IELTS preparation class(IELTS準備コース)
- 期間：4〜22週間、毎週月曜日入校可能
- レベル：Upper Intermediate以上
Academic and General IELTS tests両方の対策。平均は10-13名で少人数の為講師は生徒の目標を一人一人把握している。コミュニケーション重視のスタイルですべてのスキルをカバーしていくので効果的に学習が可能。クラス内では IELTS に必要なスキルやストラテジーもしっかり押さえていく。英語のアカデミックスキルアップとしても人気のあるクラス。毎週金曜日は終日模擬試験のため実践練習も多い。
English for Academic Purposes 1&2(進学準備コース)
- 期間：10 週
- レベル：Intermediate 以上
目的、スタイル別でアカデミックライティングを習得可能。レクチャーを理解し、効果的なノートテイキング力をマスターし、アカデミックリーディングスキルを身に着ける。様々な形式で、フォーマル、インフォーマルのスピーキング、プレゼン練習をしたり チュートリアルカンバセーション 講義での会話練習をしていくため実践力が身につく。
